𧑠Be prepared. Carry Narcan. π§‘
In an opioid overdose emergency, every second counts. Keeping Narcan (naloxone) in an easy-to-reach location can help ensure it's available when it's needed most.
π Store it in a backpack or bag
π Keep it in a purse or tote
π©Ή Add it to a first aid kit
π Place it in a location that's easy to access
Narcan kits are small, portable, and simple to carry, making it easier to be prepared for an emergency.
Having Narcan on hand could help save a life.

Live in an apartment off campus?
Did you change the batteries in your fire alarms?
Check your fire extinguisher?
Refill your first aid kit?
Now's the time-especially with storm season upon us!
π¨ Itβs the first of the month, time to test your smoke alarms!
Your reminder from the Clark Burn Center Team: take a minute today to press the test button on every smoke alarm in your home.
A smoke alarm with a dead or missing battery is the same as having no smoke alarm at all. Smoke alarms only work when they are properly installed and regularly tested.
β
Hear the beep? Itβs working.
π No beep? Check the battery or replace the alarm.
π€ Chirpβ¦ chirpβ¦ chirp? Donβt ignore it.
If your alarm has a replaceable battery, change the battery and test it again.
If it has a sealed 10-year battery, replace the alarm according to the manufacturerβs
