We were incredibly honored to welcome back Lt. Gen. Michael Basla, USAF (BG Class of 1970), to speak with our students about the true meaning of serving our country.
Lt. Gen. Basla captivated the room with powerful stories from his time in the Air Force and shared a moving perspective on what it means to be an American.
Special thanks to him for also meeting with our Student Council to teach them the proper, respectful protocol for retiring a worn American flag. 🦅
Thank you, Lt. Gen. Michael Basla, for your time, your wisdom, and your dedicated service to our nation!
🎇 Happy 4th of July! 🎇 As we celebrate Independence Day, we remember and honor all the brave men and women who have served—and continue to serve—to keep us free.

Our Bishop Ludden-Grimes students had the opportunity to travel to the Most Magical Place on Earth! 🏰

We had an absolutely incredible trip filled with faith, fellowship, and unforgettable memories.
Here is a look back at our magical itinerary and everything our students got to experience:

Thursday: Disney Springs 🛍️🍔 – We kicked off the trip by exploring Disney Springs, enjoying some world-class shopping, and fueling up for the big plans ahead.

Friday: Hollywood Studios 🎬🚀 – Our students stepped right into the movies, shrank down to the size of a toy in Toy Story Land, and traveled to a galaxy far, far away in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.

Saturday: Magic Kingdom 👑🎆 – A classic day spent experiencing iconic fairy tales, conquering thrilling mountains, and watching the spectacular fireworks light up over Cinderella’s Castle.

Sunday: Mass & Epcot ⛪🗺️ – We started our final morning together by celebrating Sunday Mass at the beautiful National Shrine of Mary Queen of the Universe, before spending the rest of the day traveling around the world and into the future at Epcot.

📸 Thank You! A huge shoutout to our incredible students for representing BLG so well, and an even bigger thank you to our amazing chaperones who made this trip possible.
