Teaching moment: I asked one of my cute little students what "mf" meant at the beginning of his piece? He thought for a second then said, "Microsoft Forte!"

This week we'll be having group lessons to practice performing and performance etiquette. This will be in place of normal lessons. Students can come to either or both group lessons: Monday the 15th at 5:00, or Tuesday the 16th at 4:00. The group lesson will be an hour long.

Our Fall Recital is this Tuesday Oct. 16! It's going to be absolutely fabulous because all the students are amazing! 6:30-7:30 at Piano Gallery in Riverdale. Can't wait to see you there!

I'm so excited about the beginnings of a studio! I have 3 student teachers so the waiting list won't be as long anymore! This is going to be a blast!

I'm starting summer piano lessons for students who just want to take for the summer! The focus will be technique and theory, so if you have a teacher who is not teaching for the summer, this will be the perfect way to keep on track and to improve your piano technique and note reading! I'll be teaching in teams of two, so kids can come with their friends and challenge each other at the piano! If at the end of the summer your student doesn't have a teacher to go back to, I'll have recommendations of teachers for each student; teachers whom I will be training and mentoring. This summer course is open to all levels of piano students 7 years and older. I can only take 12 students, so call me to reserve a spot and get more details!
