ERIE21 had the pleasure of hosting a Micron Chip Camp for the 3rd year in a row. Partnering with Micron and the MOST to host this camp is always a blast.

This year we had some awesome community partners stop by to see our students in action. A huge thank you to Mayor Sharon Owens, Patrick Mannion, Pauline Shostack, and Howie Hollander for coming to cheer on our students!

Last night the College Program had their first Core meeting of the semester.

A great night of re-connecting at the start of the semester and a great guest speaker, Howie Hollander from the Technology Alliance of Central New York (TACNY).

Our College Program will be partnering with TACNY throughout the semester and was grateful for Howie joining us last night and can't wait for an exciting year ahead!

Out Quantitative Thinking Village, middle school summer camp, has come to a close.

Two weeks and two amazing groups of 6th to 8th graders were able to explore Microbits, Lego Robotics, personal finance, and more! With students from SCSD, OCS, and Lafayette we are proud to have been able to enhance the summer in Syracuse.

Thank you to all of our participants and our partnership with Tech4Kidz. And a huge shoutout to our Youth Programs team Nauj Brady, Caley Prego, and Sally Sayles Hannon, Ph.D for all of your work making this a reality.

August 10th to 12th our Youth Programs team will be running our Micron ChipCamp, so stay tuned for more summer stories ahead!

All week we've moved in to our Quantitative Thinking Village (QTV)! Our week long middle school camp.

Our students have had the chance to work with mobile apps, Lego robotics, working coding with Scratch, and much more. We've had a great crew of students this week and have a brand new group next week, all excited to explore, learn and grow!
