I am a Syosset resident for 12 years. And I have worked as an IT infrastructure Engineer, Architect and Director with 25 years of experiences.

I am a father of 3 children in Syosset Schools, One in high school, one in middle school and one in elementary school respectively.

I co-founded a 501c3 not-for-profit organization, United Community Oriented Development Association, or UCODA, with the mission to help disabled/ disadvantaged groups, develop harmonious community. UCODA donated $60K worth of COVID19 supplies to the community during the pandemic.
I have been vocal about community concerned topics including Stillwell Field, Syosset Park, Jericho Shelter, Jericho hotel, Mercy first….

I was born to a low-income family of a 3rd world country, where an election like this would not be possible. I worked hard to get a college education, then migrated to different places and finally settled down here for the American Dream. This dream will not come true unless we all of us stand up and fight to protect our rights as parents and residents.

I witnessed countries that use pandemic as reason to physically lock people at their home, using metal fence. I also witnessed New York State executive branch want to make their emergency regulation to become permanent. This corroded the right of us as patents. I also witnessed our residents and parents fear to speak up.

Once elected, here are a few things that I would do:
1. I will be driven to establish policies to maximize freedom of parental choice and right under the law.
2. I will try to build an environment where everyone can speak up without worry.
3. I will perform the curriculum oversight and look into details of CRT/DEI/SEL/CRSE.
4. I will enhance the budget committee, so that every resident who has something to say about the budget will have their voice heard by the board.

As first Asian Dad of the school board, and the very first IT professional in the school board, I have demonstrated my value during the know your candidate night where I fixed malfunction microphone on the spot, free of charge.

And more importantly, I believe we as a community, have the collective wisdom to build a more relaxed, open dialogue environment where we all live together as a family.
