🍂🧶 New month. New goals. Let’s see what September can do! 💜

After looking back at my August goals, I realized something. I actually really like sharing these with y’all.

Not just because it gives me something to work toward, but because at the end of the month I can look back and see the progress, even when I don’t hit every number I wrote down.

So... September, here we come!

This month I’m aiming for:

🍁 Have a GREAT event on September 12th!
I’ve been busy building inventory and preparing lots of handmade goodies, and I’m excited, and maybe a teensy bit nervous 😬, to see how the day goes.

🧶 5 new custom orders
Because apparently I like keeping my hook busy! 😂 I absolutely LOVE seeing the ideas y’all bring me and figuring out how to turn them into something made just for you.

💜 250 new followers
It isn’t just about numbers. I want to keep finding more crafty people, crochet lovers, handmade supporters, and even my non crocheting observer friends to join our little corner of the internet.

📈 3,000 engagements
This one is a BIG stretch from August, but we’re going for it! More conversations, more laughs, more crochet, more behind the scenes chaos, and more opportunities to get to know all of YOU.

🏡 25 new members inside The Hook Nook Crochet
This might be the goal I’m most excited about. I want to keep growing our little private crochet community into a place where beginners and experienced crocheters alike can learn, create, ask questions, connect, and simply enjoy having people to crochet with.

Will I hit them all?

Maybe. Maybe not.

But after August, I know one thing for sure.

There’s a whole lot of progress that happens between setting the goal and reaching it.

So here’s to another month of showing up, trying things, making mistakes, celebrating wins, and doing it all one stitch at a time. 🧶💜

🍂 August Goals: How Did We Do? 🧶💜

At the beginning of August, I shared a few goals for Naturally, MelissaMade. And now that we're wrapping up the month, I think it's only fair to share the results too—the wins, the almosts, and the ones we're carrying forward.

🦚 Make my first Comfort Companion sale:
Not quite yet! Piper didn't find her person this month, BUT she received such a wonderful response when I introduced her. That tells me we're onto something with the Comfort Companions, and I'm excited to keep building this collection.

🧶 5 Custom Orders:
GOAL MET! 🎉
I received all 5 custom orders! One will carry over into the beginning of September, but all five spots were claimed—and my hook has definitely been busy!

💜 500 New Followers:
I welcomed 113 new followers this month. We didn't hit 500, but that's 113 new people who decided they wanted to stick around and see what we're creating over here. I'll take that as a win!

📈 2,000 Engagement:
As of 4:40 PM today, August 30th, we're sitting at 1,918! 😱 That's only 82 away from the goal! And technically... August isn't over yet. 👀

Did I check every box exactly the way I planned?

Nope.

But I made sales. I filled my custom order goal. More than 100 new people joined me. Nearly 2,000 interactions happened with the things I've shared. And Piper helped introduce the heart behind a brand-new collection.

That's growth. 💜

Setting goals isn't just about getting to put a giant ✔️ beside every number. Sometimes it's about looking back and realizing just how much happened while you were busy working toward them.

Now I'm ready to see what September brings. 🍁🧶
