Happy St. Patrick's Day! I'm excited to present two sessions today at the national conference in New Orleans to help professionals . The sessions will be back-to-back (2:40pm and 3:50pm CT) in the same room (Hilton - Marlborough B).

The first session is more for NASPA New Professionals & Graduate Students SC, whereas the second session is more for who are in mid to senior-level positions. But anyone is welcome to join either session.

I was completely caught by surprise at the conference closing dinner last night. NACA - National Association for Campus Activities presented me with the Outstanding Educational Session Award for my presentation entitled, "Work-Life Balance Strategies for Student Activities Professionals to Avoid Burnout"!

I'm so thankful to the incredible student activities professionals who attended the session and voted for me via their positive evaluations of the session. This is further validation that my dissertation research is needed and appreciated.

Thank you to my incredibly supportive wife Alycia Nichols, boys Sawyer and Knox, and parents Sandy and Tom Nichols. A special thanks to my sister Michelle Nichols Bork for allowing me to utilize her home office to work on my dissertation and conference presentations in a distraction-free zone.

I'm pumped about my two sessions ( for supervisors and ) at the NACA - National Association for Campus Activities conference tomorrow. Doing some last-minute prep in Iowa while watching Iowa Women's Basketball advance to the national championship is pretty exciting!
