STEM Fans,

DeKalb STEM will be slowing operations as we evaluate the best path forward for the organization. We care deeply about the DeKalb area and the greater Chicago community, but with a 90% decrease in activity, we are facing difficult decisions about the future.

Over the past several months, we applied for several grants to support classes and programming. Unfortunately, several applications were denied, and we had to decline another opportunity due to uncertainty about enrollment numbers.

We remain grateful for the support of our students, families, partners, and community members who have been part of this journey. As we determine our next steps, we will continue to keep everyone informed.

DeKalb STEM offers a 700 sq. ft. space perfect for small events, birthday parties, meetings, or workshops. The room comfortably holds up to 20 people and includes Wi-Fi, a whiteboard, and tables and chairs—so it’s set up and ready when you arrive.
