Join Us for an Inspiring Swearing-In Ceremony! 🎉

Mark your calendars for Monday, November 24, 2025 at 6:00 pm! We’re excited to celebrate the swearing-in ceremony for the newly elected leaders: Mayor Elect Doris Simmons and Council Members Elect Angie Alley and Melissa Williams. This momentous occasion will take place at the Swansea High School Fine Arts Center, and we invite everyone in the community to attend and witness the beginning of a new chapter in our town’s leadership!

After the ceremony, stay for light refreshments and the chance to mingle with fellow community members and these new leaders. This is a wonderful opportunity to engage, share ideas, and build connections that will help shape the future of our community.

As we gather to support our elected officials, let’s reflect on the power of our voices and the impact we can make together. How will you contribute to our community’s story moving forward?

As we get closer to November 4th, I’ve been reflecting on why I’m running. I’m running for my town and the people who call it home. I truly believe I can make a difference. I’ve been involved in our community for quite some time, but as a council member, I’ll have the opportunity to do even more , to help our town grow, work together, and move forward.
