Please join us in congratulating our 2026 IDA Georgia award recipients! 💙

🏆 Robin Hilker, Lead Reading Curriculum Specialist at The Wardlaw School of the Atlanta Speech School, will receive the Leadership in Literacy Award for her creative leadership and commitment to student reading achievement.

🏆 Missy Purcell, an advocate with Decoding Dyslexia Georgia, will receive the Outstanding Service Award for her dedication to dyslexia awareness and advocacy.

We’ll celebrate Robin and Missy at our in-person Open Membership Meeting on Tuesday, October 27 in Sandy Springs, GA. (Location details provided with registration confirmation.)

Check-in and mingling begin at 6:30 p.m. The program begins at 7:00 p.m. with information about the work of IDA Georgia and our awardees.

Stacey Levy, CCC-SLP, and Jennifer Roberts, CCC-SLP, will then present "Connecting the Dots: Developmental Language Disorder, Dyslexia, and the Power of Structured Literacy."

Everyone interested in IDA Georgia is welcome.

We are in the age of AI. What does this mean for individuals with dyslexia?
