Join us in congratulating Mo'Riah Jackson-Rawlings on his hard work and dedication to FBLA!

Mo'Riah Jackson-Rawlings, currently serves as the Tri-Cities Regional Vice President of FBLA while also leading as Surry County High School’s Chapter President under the leadership of Advisor Ms. Jasmine Highsmith-Ruffin. Mo’Riah has also been recommended to attend the Foundation Leadership Institute (FLI) at the State Leadership Conference in Reston, VA. Keep up the great work!

Today, FBLA will be traveling to Reston, VA for the State Leadership Conference, where students will compete in events, participate in workshops, and take advantage of valuable opportunities for growth and leadership development.

🚨 Exciting News! New FBLA Tri-Cities Regional Director! 🚨

Surry County’s own Math/Business teacher, Dr. Shanita Glaspie, has been named the new Tri-Cities FBLA Regional Director! This appointment comes with full confidence, as Dr. Glaspie brings 18 years of experience in business education, including nine years with Surry County Public Schools, and is a life member of the Virginia Business Education Association.

FBLA is truly student-led, and she is proud to see outstanding students taking the lead, spearheading activities and conferences throughout the school year. On March 6, 2026, she co-led the Regional Leadership Conference, featuring the Honorable Cameran Drew as keynote speaker and a team-building seminar led by the VSU FBLA chapter.

Dr. Glaspie is truly honored by this appointment and celebrates the students’ dedication, leadership, and commitment!

We are thrilled to recognize Bryce Ruffin as our Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) Student of the Month! Bryce went above and beyond this month, not only excelling in our annual fruit fundraiser, but also showing incredible dedication to serving the community. He was our top seller, raising over $800 to support FBLA’s initiatives.

In addition to his fundraising success, Bryce has been actively involved in our community service projects, including generously donating gifts to our Project JOY program. His commitment to giving back and making a difference truly embodies the values of FBLA.
