Your new life is going to cost you your old life. Specifically, It will cost you your old comfort zone, your old relationships, your old hobbies, and activities that aren’t producing s**t.
1. Comfort Zone - nothing changes if you don’t. That means getting comfortable with the uncomfortable. Such as intentionally meeting and then spending time with people who challenge you and your old ideas. It might mean investing $ in your self improvement. It might mean getting up earlier than usual. Mostly, it means intentionally seeking to do things differently than what you are currently comfortable with in order to make the positive changes you want for your life.
2. Old relationships - this goes beyond your relationships with people who aren’t serving you. If you really want to change this is 100% unavoidable. Not everyone is going to like your improvement and they might discourage you. You will need to find a way to be ok spending less time with those people. What is your relationship with food that doesn’t fuel your body? What about your relationship to being a spectator to others living their dreams? Sports, DIY shows, Netflix, etc.
3. This really takes us to your hobbies and what you spend your finite hours and minutes you doing. What you have in your life is a direct result of how you chose to spend that time. Your life is 100% the result of how you have allotted your time and choices. We are all self made but only the successful admit it
