I can’t believe it hasn’t even been TWO years!

Less than two years ago, after getting my babies launched out of homeschool and into the world, I decided I couldn’t just sit around the house every day.

So, what would I do?

After some prayer, I decided to start tutoring. After all, my formal training and all my life experience was in the field of education.
But, knowing literally no one in Texas, how would I even begin?

Two brave mamas decided to trust me. I thoroughly enjoyed working with just two.

But, that wasn’t to be the end.
This year, my calendar is already completely full! I mean, I am turning away students because I do not have another hour to squeeze a student in.

I am only posting this to encourage you. If you are starting a business… pray over it. Ask the Lord to send you the clients He has for you. And be diligent with the ones he sends! Ask Him to multiply it - and He will.
Be patient and thankful in the process.

I occasionally see moms post that they are empty nesters and aren’t sure what to do next, or are feeling lonely.

Hear this clearly: God is not done with you yet! Ask Him what is next.

In less than TWO years, He took my little idea (planted by Him) and has made it a full time gig.

I am looking forward to all my Father will do this upcoming year in the lives of my students and their families!

THIS!

“Let me tell you about my Jesus!”

It is the parents’ duty to teach their children the way of the Father. (Deut. 6:7)

This is why we homeschooled - it was more about discipleship than academics! If your child spends 40 hours per week in school, how are you able to combat that?

Those of you who are home with your little ones… don’t get weary. You are raising warriors. The Father sees you and He stands beside you. Press on!

A mind-control spirit manifests in the spirit realm as an octopus.
This video is a great image of how it works, and beating it with a stick will not make it leave.

In deliverance when we come across this (and MANY Christians have this - but often do not know), first the person must repent - this removes the legal right of the spirit to be there. Then, we use the sword of the Lord and cut off its tentacles by the power of the blood of Jesus.
And, then we can remove the demonic spirit that keeps people bound (often to religion).

If your mind seems foggy when it comes to things of the Spirit. If you think following all the rules is the way to victory, is it possible you have been under the influence of a mind control spirit?

What are some ways you could have come into agreement?
New age practices (healing crystals, yoga, Reiki)
occultism (ouija board, witchcraft, seances - even as children)
And YES, legalism in Christianity! Even passed down on the bloodline by your ancestors!

This isn’t to create fear, it is to bring freedom!

Step out of agreement with it today!

Do you have trouble discerning the Shepherd's voice?

"the sheep hear his voice; and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out... the sheep follow him for they know his voice." John 10:3-4

Many who are oppressed have trouble distinguishing the Shepherd's voice. Why? Because demons deceive. They speak to the mind and make their voice sound like yours. So, you may think that it is just your thought. OR, they may convince you that it is the Holy Spirit speaking. But, if it does not line up with the Word of God - and I mean fully align with His character - then, it is indeed NOT the voice of God!

Jesus came to give life and life abundant. He died for your forgiveness and salvation, but also for your healing and deliverance. So, if that voice says, "I gave you this sickness to glorify myself," that is NOT Jesus, for the Word says, "by his stripes, we were healed", 1 Peter 2:24.

If the voice says, "you are always going to struggle financially", that is NOT Jesus, for the Word says, "I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers." 3 John 1:2

If that voice says, "you are always going to have anxiety," that is NOT Jesus, for the Word says, "God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind." 2 Timothy 1:7

But, the enemy came to steal, kill and destroy.

"For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ." 2 Corinthians 10:3-4

This is the picture of deliverance... walking in freedom. Pull down strongholds in your mind. Cast down arguments going on in your mind. Get rid of the noise, the static, so you can hear the voice of your Shepherd. And, this is why abiding in the Word matters... not a religious exercise of reading your Bible every day, but being able to recognize deception and put it under your feet before it becomes a stronghold.

Jesus said, "If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And, you shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free." John 8:31

Spiritual warfare does not mean fighting a battle with the enemy, or getting beaten up by him. It means enforcing the victory that Jesus already secured!

It is not a one day in Heaven kind of thing.

It is - the kingdom of God is at hand - kind of thing!

It is time to step over the threshold and lay hold of the victory!

Trust God with your children! He is a good, good Father and He gives good gifts!

Begin speaking life over them and not death.

Refuse to come into agreement with fear!

Jesus said to those who believed in Him, "If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." John 8:31-32

You CAN be free... free of torment from the enemy, free from depression, anxiety, anger, addiction, disease, bitterness, childhood trauma, ...
It is a promise from Scripture. Jesus already paid the price for your healing and deliverance. He WANTS you to be free. Enough that he went to the cross and died for you! Not just so you could go to Heaven one day... (though that too), but so you can live in victory today!

The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand.

But, following a set of rules is NOT what will make you free! Religion does NOT set you free!

The truth sets you free.

How do we know what is true? We abide in His Word. The written word, yes. But, Holy Spirit still speaks. He is the Spirit of truth sent to guide us into all truth. We need to listen to Him and obey His voice. When we do... we will walk into a new level of freedom!

True freedom comes when we are willing to put everything from the past behind us, and go ALL IN for Jesus.

If you could see your promised land. If you could see what lies ahead for you when you decide to put old ways behind you and chase Jesus, there would be no hesitation.

Are you ready? This is what deliverance looks like!

If you are ready to have an encounter with Jesus... I highly recommend taking a listen. The message starts at about the 1 hour mark.

Jesus is the gate, what does that mean?
Are you entitled to meet with Jesus? So many of us have said "Christianity is about relationship not religion", but then we just sit in the doorway, content with salvation, while allowing fear or shame or lack of knowledge to keep us from stepping over the threshold.
