Youth Balance Bike Instructors/Early Childhood Educators Needed for Children Ages 2-6
Do you remember to feel freedom the first time riding your bicycle? How about to make others feel the same?
Would you like to have a job that requires you to have fun, use your imagination and positively impact children while teaching them to balance on a bike?
Little Cyclist is one of the best programs for two to six years old children.
www.littlecyclist.com is looking to expand our team of dynamic coaches to accommodate our growth in the Greater Austin area. After completing our paid training program, coaches earn $15/hour to $18/hour to start and have the opportunity to earn more through advancement with our team.
We are looking for coaches who meet the following criteria:
Responsible: Timely, attentive, safety conscious, and committed to fulfilling assigned schedule. Engaging: Comfortable and confident, the ability to keep a group 10 or more children safely engaged, entertained and excited to learn about balancing on a bike.
Enthusiastic & Fun: Outgoing, animated, willing to sing songs, be silly/goofy and have the ability to connect with young children (2 - 6 years old).
Patient/Adaptable: Recognizes that not every session will go as planned, distractions will occur (airplanes are so cool) and patience is an ally.
Professional: Neat in appearance, friendly and courteous in all communication with childcare staff, parents and administrators.
Team Player: Collaborative, dependable, excellent communicator and commitment to elevating those around you.
Bike Enthusiast: Biking experience is preferred, however, if you are great working with children, have some familiarity riding.
Prior Experience Working with Children: Must be able to engage and interact with 2-6 year old.
Reliable Transportation: Must have a safe and reliable car. You are responsible for driving yourself to your sites. Must have a clean driving record.
Background check cleared: Must pass a Federal & State Background Check and FBI Fingerprinting. CPR/ First Aid Certified: Certified in cpr/ first aid or willing to get certified.
We offer sessions 5 day a week throughout the Austin area.

1. Every Little Cyclist coach must complete our comprehensive training program to receive certification.
2. All Little Cyclist coaches are trained in the use of developmentally appropriate techniques.
