Just an appreciation post…

This week there was a need for a lot of rearranging to help move sessions earlier in the week for tests…I was able to make those changes for nearly all that requested it. Thank you for being flexible and helping me help others!

Even if you couldn’t switch for whatever reasons, I appreciate you trying to make it work!

(Also huge thanks to my wife, my kids, my ex-wife, and my sitter for dealing with/helping with the changes!)

“I’m just not good at math.”

Step 1: Mindset shift. Start with celebrating small “wins”.

During homework…”Great job on that question!” (Even if the final result isn’t perfect, focus on the process, what is being done correctly? Then work on fine tuning.)

When reviewing tests/quizzes…start with excitement about the correct answers, then look where the errors happened on the others.

Focus on the positive, encourage from the negative.

Together, we can shift that mindset, build confidence, and find success.

There are a lot of early/mid week tests this week, I’ll be working on rearranging spots later today. Look for a message from me tonight or tomorrow morning.
