Welcome to our FIRST Kids Cafe’ Cooking Class! 🍓👨‍🍳

Our little chefs were ready to get cooking! 🥄✨ The children got to put on their fancy aprons and chef hats before stepping into the kitchen for a fun and educational cooking adventure!

First, we learned what ingredients are and talked about the importance of following a recipe. 📖👀 Then came the BEST part… making our very own FRUIT PIZZAS! 🍕🍓🫐

The chefs even had a very important taste-test to complete! We tried two different kinds of cream cheese—original and blueberry. 🫐🥯 And the winner was… 🥁🥁🥁 BLUEBERRY! 💙

Next, our little chefs got to create their own fruit pizza by placing their favorite fruits on top of their crackers and cream cheese. 🍓🍌🫐

And, of course, no cooking class is complete without a taste test! 😋

Although we may have discovered that some of our chefs have their own way of eating fruit pizza… 😂 A few decided the fruit needed to be eaten FIRST, followed by the cracker and cream cheese! Hey, chefs have creative freedom, right?! 👩‍🍳🤣

Today we practiced:
🍎 Identifying ingredients
📖 Following directions and a recipe
🧑‍🍳 Kitchen vocabulary
🍓 Making healthy food choices
🤲 Fine-motor skills
😋 Trying new foods and flavors

September has arrived! 🍁 Our little ones are ready to trade the playground sweat for sweater weather. Since the cool air hasn't shown up yet, they spent the day tossing leaves in the air and making their own fall fun! 😊

Tunnel time was a big hit today for our 2A and Beginners classes! 🌟 The children enjoyed crawling, exploring, and having fun with friends while building their gross motor skills and confidence. What a wonderful day of play and discovery! 😊
