🎉 Exciting news, PLA families; the Buddy-a-Thon is here! 🎉
Starting TODAY, Tuesday, September 15th, our students will have the chance to raise money for their classrooms, earn awesome prizes, and most importantly, have an amazing time choosing and building their very own Buddy! 🧸💙

Half of the proceeds will go directly toward fulfilling our teachers' classroom wish lists, while the other half will be donated to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, helping children bravely fight cancer and supporting an incredible cause.

Be on the lookout for the yellow Buddy-a-Thon flyer coming home with your child for full details!

Thank you in advance for your participation and support, we couldn't do it without YOU! 💙

A HUGE shout-out to one of our Manatees teachers, Miss Taylor, who created this amazing banner hanging in the entrance of our school! Make sure to check it out daily to watch the leaderboard change! 🎉

✨ Quarterly Staff Meeting Recap! ✨
We had our quarterly staff meeting on Tuesday, and what a great time we had together! 💙
We enjoyed answering questions, winning prizes, and participating in fun group activities that challenged our staff to work together and think outside the box. One of our favorite activities involved writing step-by-step directions for a “robot” on how to make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich! 🥪🤖
While we had plenty of laughs, our biggest takeaway was an important one: communication matters. We reflected on how we communicate with one another, with our students, and with our parents. Clear, thoughtful, and effective communication plays such an important role in creating a positive school community.
We ended our time together by celebrating our amazing staff with our Quarterly Awards! 🏆 Our team of teachers are incredibly dedicated and hardworking. Thank you for all you do for PLA! ❤️

Our 2nd Annual PLA Carnival 🎡 was a success! Thank you for all the families who came out to join us for a fun morning with one another. We had a great time playing games, petting and feeding the animals, pony rides, Kona ice and the delicious coffee truck.

Thank you to the PTA for putting on this fun event. 🌟

What a fun day at Palmetto Learning Academy! 🇺🇸

Today our little ones celebrated America’s 250th birthday with our annual 4th of July Parade, and they did not disappoint! Our teachers helped the kids make the cutest red, white, and blue shirts and you can tell by the smiles on their faces, they had the best time! Our parades always allow the teachers and students to celebrate together before the holiday! ❤️🤍💙

There is nothing better than seeing the excitement on our student’s faces as they march through our school, these are the moments that make our preschool so special!

We hope everyone has a safe, happy, and relaxing 4th of July with family and friends. What a fun day at PLA!🇺🇸✨
