Sultan Community Student Travel

Hopefully most of you saw the pictures from our first International trip for grades 9+. We had a great time in Italy and Greece.

Upcoming trips are:

April 2027 Middle School Eastern Seaboard grades 7 and 8.

April 2028 England and Scotland grades 9+.

Spring break brings much better weather during the trip. Europe and the East Coast of the US have been experiencing extreme temps during the summer making traveling less enjoyable.

Signups are open for the 2027 trip for 7th and 8th graders and we will have a fall interest meeting in September.

I will push out information on our 202i trip for 9th+ in the next 2 weeks, planning for an information and sign up meeting on September 30th.

The awesomeness of this structure is incredible. Built before the time of Jesus Christ, it has stood 2000 years, first as a Roman Temple, and for the last 1400 years as a Christian Church. Kings of Italy and Renaissance Artists are buried there. The US Capitol structure is a copy of this building. I'm glad we had a group willing to brave the heat and check it out.

Yesterday, Tuesday July 28th was our last day on tour in Italy. We walked from the Spanish steps all the way to St. Peters Basilica. I've included the basic pictures here but will do separate post for the Pantheon and the Basilica. The artistry, architecture, the grandeur is incomparable. Until you have seen it for yourself it is inconceivable.

Thank you to all the parents, family, and community members who have helped contribute to student travel in the Sky Valley and Sultan community the past 22 years. We couldn't have done this trip without you.

Next up is DC Trip April 2027 for 7th and 8th grade, and hoping to do another trip for High school spring or summer 2028. If you know someone who is interested in either, have them seek me out on my personal Facebook or connect them to me.

Who wants to travel to Greece and Italy, summer of 2028. There is an RSVP code and email that you can use to let us know you are interested. Meeting on April 23rd, 6:30 at Sultan Middle School. Using the RSVP keeps you in the loop and the email you can ask questions and get more information.

This is open to Students and Parents who would be in grades 9-12 in the 2027-2028 school year.
