After asking her a few questions about how she grew up and her experiences with money, she let me know that her parents were kinda strict about money. They were hard workers and saved every penny, not a single thing wasted. So as she was growing up, when she wanted to buy a nice shirt for herself, she could hear her mom's disapproving voice in her head that she would be more wise to save than spend. That started making her doubt her choices in anything she would do with her money.

And can we blame her for having those kind of thoughts?

So she was often scared that she was making the wrong move with her money so she also didn't think about investing.

I remember also thinking that losing money was scary because I had a hard time with money as I grew up. But there is a different situation going on now.

Because now there is inflation, higher inflation. The US dollar has lost 10% already this year. So just wanting to be "safe" holding our savings actually is already losing us value.

Would having some of savings in Bitcoin, a growing asset, that is up 100% over the last 12 months, would that have helped?

So sometimes, we need to look further into the details when the situation is different, like it is for us now.

Now, it might be more "risky" to hold cash, which WE KNOW is being devalued. It might be more risky to NOT have any Bitcoin if Bitcoin keeps growing and can protect against inflation.

That’s why I believe every woman, every mom, deserves to know how to invest safely, grow wealth, and build financial freedom for her family.
