Due to the severe weather forecast expected this afternoon, Suffolk Public Schools will operate on a two-hour early release schedule for students and staff today, Monday, March 16, 2026. During a two-hour early release, dismissal will be adjusted accordingly.

Please see the adjusted schedule below:

Middle School will dismiss at 12:00 p.m.
High School will dismiss at 1:00 p.m.
Elementary School will dismiss at 2 p.m.

The School Administrative Offices and the SPS Pharmacy will close at 3 p.m. As a reminder, all after-school athletics and activities for this afternoon are canceled. Please continue to check our SPS communication platforms for any additional information or updates.

Due to the winter weather forecast and likelihood of hazardous road conditions in our area during the morning commute, Suffolk Public Schools will open on a 2-hour delay for students and staff on Monday, February 23, 2026. During a 2-hour delay, bus pick-ups for all students will begin two hours later than regular pick-up times, and school hours will be adjusted by two hours to accommodate the change.

Middle School will begin at 9:25 a.m.
High School will begin at 10:25 a.m.
Elementary School will begin at 11:25 a.m.

The School Administrative Offices and the SPS Pharmacy will open at 10:00 a.m. Breakfast service will continue for those in need. Additionally, any before-school childcare will open under the same delay. Dismissal times and after-school activities will remain the same unless otherwise noted. In observance of Presidents' Day, Suffolk Public Schools will be closed on Monday, February 16th. We will reopen on Tuesday, February 17th.

Part 3 of the HVAC course will begin on Tuesday, February 17.
