Our focus is to Be Safe, Be Respectful, Be Responsible, Be Kind. Sturgis Elementary prides itself in building strong relationships to strengthen our school community. Sturgis Elementary is home to the Lions, Jackrabbits, Monkeys, Lemurs, Elephants, Deer, Eagles, Panthers, Bears and Dogs! The house system is a school within a school model in which students and staff are sorted into houses, meeting

monthly, in order to build relationships and create a sense of community. “House Champions” are awarded monthly, based on student earned points, and given a popcorn party with the principals.
