I want to give a shoutout to Ella Whickcar for the way she continues to show up, work, learn, and attack the process.
Ella is already a talented pitcher, but what has impressed me most is her willingness to work on the little things that will help her continue developing long-term.
No shortcuts. No chasing quick fixes.
Just consistent work, trust in the process, and a desire to keep getting better.
Hard work deserves to be recognized. Keep going, Ella! 🔥

🥎 ATHLETE HIGHLIGHT: AALIYAH 🥎
9 years old. Up 11 MPH in just one month!
Aaliyah’s progress is a great example of what can happen when an athlete shows up, works hard, and stays committed to the process.
This jump did not come from simply trying to throw harder. It came from improving how her body moves, building confidence in her motion, and putting in quality repetitions.
I am incredibly proud of the effort Aaliyah has given over the past month. She continues to listen, learn, and attack each session with a great attitude.
11 MPH in one month is a huge accomplishment—but the hard work behind it is what deserves the spotlight.

This week, we are excited to recognize Delaney for the hard work, focus, and commitment she continues to bring to her pitching development.
Delaney is a 9U pitcher who shows up ready to learn, accepts coaching, and keeps working through every challenge. Her progress is being built through consistent repetitions, attention to detail, and a willingness to trust the process—even when improvement does not happen overnight.
The goal is not perfection from one pitch to the next. The goal is to keep developing stronger movement, better direction, improved timing, and greater confidence in the circle. Delaney continues to take important steps forward because she is willing to put in the work.
I am proud of her effort and excited to watch her continue to grow.

13-year-old Zoe is putting in the work today on the smart mitt. Hit a new PR right after I quit recording - several 59s in a row, then 60! Of course, it was right after I quit recording. I'm not discouraged because I know there will be plenty more to come. Congratulations, Zoe, the hard work is paying off.
