To their families, loved ones, and the entire VBPD family—our thoughts and prayers are with you. May their courage, service, and sacrifice never be forgotten.

I want to honor all veterans who have given so much to protect and serve our country. Chris, spent many years in the military, and our story is deeply connected to those sacrifices. I’ll be honest—there were times I felt angry at the military for all it demanded from him and from us. But as I look back now, I see how necessary those sacrifices were, not just for Chris but for every veteran who served selflessly.

Today, as we find peace and strength within our own home, I’m filled with gratitude for what those years taught us. To every veteran: your dedication and resilience are not forgotten. Thank you for the sacrifices you’ve made.

And to Chris, thank you for your service and for being part of a journey that shaped our lives in ways I now deeply cherish. ❤️🇺🇸🙏

You have a platform that reaches millions, and with that comes a responsibility to encourage informed decision-making. Your recent endorsement of President Harris, while within your rights, appears to steer many of your followers toward a political stance without urging them to fully consider the complexities of that choice.

As the spouse of a veteran who has sacrificed much to ensure that we live in a country where our freedoms are protected, I find it troubling that your influence might lead people to vote in a particular way simply because you, a pop icon, said so. Our nation’s decisions are too critical to be dictated by celebrity endorsements rather than thoughtful, independent consideration.

I wish you had used your influence to encourage your fans to vote in a way that they believe will truly benefit their families and the future of our country. Voting is a serious responsibility, and it deserves to be approached with deep reflection and an understanding of the broader implications for all Americans.

Please consider the weight of your words and the impact they have on the lives of everyday people. Use your voice not to dictate a choice, but to inspire thoughtful and informed decisions that uphold the freedoms we cherish.
