Attention Families! ABA is looking at being severely reduced through budget amendment language which will affect children and families being able to access medically necessary ABA services in the way they need, it would be extremely helpful for those that have accessed, or are accessing, ABA services to reach out to legislators. There is a link below in the post. It takes about 2 minutes to fill out the email and send it out. Have questions, feel free to PM me!

Attention Families! Virginia lawmakers are considering changes that could significantly limit access to Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services for children and families across our state. Families currently accessing ABA services for their child, those waiting for services, and those who may need support in the future, please take a few minutes today to speak up. Use this simple link to send a message directly to your locally elected delegate and senator, and the elected officials negotiating final language in the state budget. https://conta.cc/4bbO7BP
Your voice matters, your story matters, and together, families can make a difference!

Please continue the advocacy please! The fight is not over! We need for everyone to advocate as much as possible! Advocacy is easy, just follow the link in the post below aka it will take you right to the form. It only takes 2 minutes. Our children with disabilities (all disabilities) need to be able to continue to access the medical services that are right for them. This proposed budget language will severely limit that!

As Virginia lawmakers finalize the state budget, proposed language could severely restrict ABA services and cap hours for children in need. We encourage you to contact your lawmakers by clicking here https://conta.cc/4kiyBqG Together, we can ensure that every child has access to the care they deserve.

Doing a little crowd sourcing before moving forward with this idea :)
