Finally wrapping up efforts for tonight.

🩶We stocked Open Bible’s clean up crew with nearly 80 buckets of hope to distribute to storm victims during clean up.

♥️Streator Animal Control was stocked with additional supplies.

🖤Lastly, Circle K East’s pantry has been stocked.

That’s all for tonight, and tomorrow we rest.

Over the past week we’ve heard nothing but kind things about the kids involved in tornado relief efforts.

On Sunday, there was a group that donated their lemonade stand earnings to our fund.

Today we heard about a crew of 30-40 teens out cleaning up debris. A home owner remarked about their nonstop efforts and words of hope and encouragement. We were sure to send them snacks and water.

Here at the school, we’ve had our own little work crew. Throughout the week Samuel (14) and Ellie (14) have put in hours of heavy lifting, hauling, unpacking, and anything else they were asked to do.

Last night, Levi (2) moved stock & entertained volunteers. Maddox (10) was hauling items and running errands.

At any given time today you might have seen Colson (11) and Hunter (7) hauling trash, stocking carts, unboxing items, and breaking down boxes.

And our athletes and key clubbers deserve another shout out too for their manpower. They have been here getting it done and saving our backs in the process.

They may be kids, but their hearts are big. We have faith that some day they’ll run the world with an abundance of compassion.

If anyone notices one running low, reach out to us here.

We will be back at it tomorrow. Stop by the school and see us tomorrow, 9 am until 1 pm.

Today we served nearly 40 households (Maybe more. We lost count ). There were many helping hands on deck to make it happen.

We want to shout out the volleyball team for taking time out of their practice to haul water and clean supplies. They made quick work of it.

We want to shout out “Muscles” and her mom for their continued support. Your volunteer efforts and donations are much appreciated.

We can’t forget the honorary “Senior Members”—they’ve been adopted as the offical Warrior PTO grandmas. They’ve been present from the very beginning. They never stop. Their contributions are beyond words.

Thank you to everyone who was a part of today’s efforts. We appreciate you.
