Come on out and join in on the festivities. Our Annual Holiday Luncheon is a way to recap a great year of hot topics and networking along with some very interesting travel trivia in the form of Jeopardy. Let's see just how much you don't know about the industry we all work in!

Don't forget to bring an unwrapped toy for our Toys for Tots Drive or we will be accepting donations to purchase toys. This is not mandatory.
Also, bring $20 toward PAC if you are interested. We will have a 50/50.

Today's CWBTA meeting has been postponed. We’ll look to reschedule both the topic and the venue (JHouse) in early 2019.

Don’t miss the first ever Connecticut-Westchester BTA Education Day, being held on October 18th at the Crowne Plaza Stamford. This exciting event will run from 8:30am – 2:00pm and proves to be a fantastic opportunity to collaborate with other professionals on best practices within the travel industry.

The educational topics being covered at Education Day were chosen by our members and include the hottest topics in business travel today. The CWBTA Expo will feature Global Suppliers from across all facets of the business travel industry, including airlines, hotels, rail and ground transportation.

The agenda for the half-day event is as follows:

8:30am – 9:00am: Breakfast and Greeting

9:00am – 9:30am: Guest Speaker Kathy Briski from The Boeing Company discusses Travel Category Management

9:30am – 10:00am: Duty of Care panel discussion

10:00am – 10:15am: Break

10:15am – 10:45am: Shark Tank

10:45am – 11:15am: CWBTA Expo

11:15am – 12:00pm: Motivational Speaker Janine Strange’s “Stay Grounded While You Fly”

12:00pm – 12:30pm: Dr. Brian Yomtov, Wellness Speaker

12:30pm – 1:30pm: Lunch

1:00pm – 1:30pm: Closing remarks and Raffles

1:30pm – 2:00pm: CWBTA Expo

Prior to October 11*, Member registration is only $80, and Non-Member/Returning Guest registration is only $120. Walk-ins are also welcome though the price increases to $100 for Members and $140 for Guests. CWBTA would also like to invite you to register one guest Travel Manager/Buyer, who has not previously attended a CWBTA meeting or event, free of charge. This is a wonderful chance to bring along a co-worker or client at no additional cost and have them directly experience the benefit of joining CWBTA!

Join us on Tuesday, April 10th at the Doral Arrowwood to hear Patrick Algyer from the Global Business Travel Association - GBTA give benefits of membership, talk about the Convention, and ways to further your education and get involved.

IMPORTANT! March 13th chapter meeting has been cancelled due to the anticipated bad weather. If you have already registered, you may put the registration fee towards another meeting.
