Hi everyone
Here is the scoop if you are going to Blues on the Beach.

Good Morning everyone! Just a reminder that Blues on the Beach is on Saturday, July 23rd. There will be music, food trucks, showers, outdoor facilities. You need to bring your own everything (tent, beach umbrellas, coolers, beach stuff, etc.)
If you have a Stratford beach sticker you may get into the Short beach compound. If you do not, you will need to park your car and walk into the beach area. If I am wrong, please someone correct me. I have asked the Blues page but it seems that no one is maning the account. So just be prepared to walk with your stuff; however, if they do allow you in most likely it will be a charge per car so have cash available. Could be anywhere from 25 to 40 dollars.

For those inquiring about Blues on the Beach given by the Town of Stratford, it's on Saturday July 23rd , here are the details.

Bring your Own :
chairs, tents, food, coolers, all your beach stuff, dont forget a hat, sunscreen, or water. It you are bringing a tent or beach umbrella please bring weights to hold it down. It does get windy.

You MUST watch your stuff, there is no keeper of the stuff once you decide where you want to plop yourself down.
A few years back 2 grandmas tried to steal someone's tent. True story.
This is the one time you will be allowed to bring alcohol on the beach; however, it can not be glass. So go get those beer cans and wine boxes.
PLEASE bring lost of water!!!!!
There will be food trucks, extra porto potties, showers and EMS for emergencies.
The parking is extremely limited. If you get a parking in the morning you are good; however, if you plan on arrivng later in the day then you will need to find parking outside of the beach compound. The police be blocking the entrance. So bring something to carry all of your stuff and roll it in or just Uber yourself there, Easiest.

The event is from 10am to 10pm, with a new band playing every hour and fireworks at the end.
This event pulls in about 20,000 people and yes, somehow we all fit on the beach. LOL
Drink responsibly Act responsibly. There will be policeman on foot, on bikes, and in boats on the water.

Good morning everyone, I had a ton of people ask me for a list for the names below. The names were listed in the comments but since we are all getting up there in age LOL LOL LOL I figured I repost with the names attached.

To our class of 1982 who have graduated to their resting place, we rememerbed and felt you in spirit and we all raise a glass to you. We love you and we miss you. May you all Rest in Peace.

Gooood Morning everyone!!!! We have received so many great comments about the Reunion and we took all of your requests into consideration.
So that there are no excuses on why you can not come LOL LOL
We will be holding a 41year reunion next year!!!! Same Memorial Day weekend, Same time, but Venue TBD.

Just FYI, we will also have a 45th year reunion, but we will worry about that later.

What an amazing weekend!! I want to thank our team Pam Kirkby who made all the arrangements with Little Pub, Rita Colucci who created the Bunnell Venmo to collect payment, Ann Bradley Baker for helping me locate classmates, Yvette Chiesa Novacek for researching, locating classmates and the Annoying everyone to go 😂 and mother nature for blessing us with a gorgeous night.
