UConn Next Step is a life skills club that aims to prepare students to thrive in "the real world" after graduation.
We will present informative sessions on subjects including taxes, credit scores, insurance, mortgages, and other skills necessary to function in today's society. Our goal is to educate undergraduate and graduate students through guest speakers and interactive activities focused on mastery of each subject. Students will have access to an online database of presentations and written guides for these skills for reference after graduation. Topic suggestions and student presentations are welcome!

Thank you to RA Emily Napear for hosting us at your RA program! We had a blast learning how to wrap presents, tie ties, fold T-Shirts in under 2 seconds, and jumpstart a car!

Today, our President, Jackie, was able to build her student leadership skills at the Student Leadership Conference held at Central Connecticut State University. She participated in various workshops and discussions surrounding the linking of identity, community, and social change. Jackie hopes to collaborate with and bring this new knowledge home to her peers, UConn Next Step, and the UConn community!
