This beautiful filly was the first foal born at UConn this spring! A huge thank you goes out to Hilltop Farm, Inc. for the generous donation of a stallion service from Louisville HTF.
The first Louisville foal of the season has arrived! The University of Connecticut’s Thoroughbred mare Makin Monarch (Windsor Castle–Makin) delivered this charming bay Louisville filly on Saturday, March 7. The consistently outgoing, people-oriented personalities of Louisville’s offspring are sure to make this filly a favorite with the students.
