Raymond Lizzol ‘27 first discovered his artistic talent through a single class in high school. Now, taking that single class has turned into creating a lasting legacy at Stony Brook.

Lizzol won the Campus Beautification Committee’s second annual ART Tank competition with "The Eye of Stony Brook," a 6.5 x 5-foot digital art installation now housed in President Andrea Goldsmith’s outer office. Blending his view of SBU excellence with inspiration from Michelangelo’s David, the political science and business management student gained hands-on experience with commissioned art, brand integration and spatial design.
