Want more Vagus-nerve Information?
Have you ever felt…”They’re getting on my last nerve!”
If so, you’re talking about the vagus nerve. 🧠
The vagus nerve connects your head-brain with what scientists call your belly-brain. When you understand how the vagus nerve works, that understanding brings compassion for whatever ails you.
Scientist Stephen Porges brought a lot of attention to vagal nerve functioning with his polyvagal theory. Chi for Two expands polyvagal theory. 🌟
You might start your journey with Vagus-nerve Information by reading Polyvagal 101 at www.chifortwo.com/polyvagal
…and for more about Chi for Two…

Embodiment Coach Training- Fall 2026!
Chi for Two® - a mindful embodiment method - announces our next cohort beginning September 2026.
Two-year training:
Tuesdays 9am-10:30am ET
Starting September 8th, 2026
Chi for Two training will prepare practitioners to invite clients to more fully exist in their bodies by more fully existing in their relationships.
Coaches who become certified in our two-year training program gain a rich therapeutic framework and learn partner practices, which are attachment-based, trauma-sensitive & polyvagal-informed.
Chi For Two Embodiment Coach training brings awareness of the energetic dance of the therapeutic relationship to all somatic therapy modalities. Chi for Two draws from dance/movement therapy’s understanding of kinesthetic empathy and the Pesso Boyden System Psychomotor (PBSP) awareness of child/parent interaction, among many other modalities, to deepen mindfulness of two-person interactions in which there exists a built-in power differential—child/parent, student/teacher, client/coach, client/therapist, employee/boss. For this reason, the Chi for Two training program has been approved by ISMETA (International Somatic Movement Education & Therapy Association - ismeta.org).
Chi for Two training program graduates are eligible to become credentialed with ISMETA as Associate Somatic Movement Professionals (ASMP) with 250/hrs of training, or Registered Somatic Movement Educators or Therapists (RSMEs or RSMTs) with 500/hrs of training.
Trainers include:
🌟 Dee Wagner
Originator of Chi for Two; Master Somatic Movement Educator and Therapist; Board Certified Dance/Movement Therapist; Licensed Professional Counselor

Chi for Two®, a mindful embodiment method, weaves together important elements from the following healing modalities: psychology, somatic movement, meditative practices, attachment theory and trauma healing.
Chi for Two (Chi meaning energy, Two meaning relational) offers a comprehensive, multi-year training and is an Approved Training Program with ISMETA (International Somatic Movement Education & Therapy Association), reflecting their worldwide standards and requirements for depth, scope, competencies and ethics.
Our practitioners offer somatic movement healing practices that are relational and developmental, which supports healing in a way that “dances with” clients instead of “doing something to” a client.
Trained Chi for Two coaches help to re-pattern nervous system functioning by:
*using an invitational approach
*offering relational somatic support
*celebrating new movement expressions over time that provide a robust quality of embodiment and healing.
