Why did you join IPhO?
I joined to gain more knowledge in the field of industry pharmacy. Going into pharmacy school, I had little to no background on what this field entailed. However, joining this organization opened new doors and taught me the various careers that can be achieved in the field of industry pharmacy. I hope to utilize my experiences with IPhO as a stepping stone for future industry endeavors.

Why did you join IPhO?
I joined IPhO as I was interested in pursuing nontraditional alternatives to pharmacy such as in the development and commercialization of medications. Liaising between regulatory agencies and learning about policies has always been interesting to me, and IPhO offered me opportunities to learn more about how I can pursue those interests in a future career.

Fun Fact about you?
I have a crippling fear of mangoes 🥭

I joined because I have a strong interest in industry and wanted to work with like-minded people to show fellow student pharmacists there are more paths in the pharmacy profession beyond what they may have thought.

Why did you join IPhO?
I joined IPhO to pursue my passion of industry pharmacy. Coming into pharmacy school, industry pharmacy was something that I knew interested me and IPhO has allowed me to deepen my knowledge of the field and solidify my goals of pursuing a career within it. From our various events, IPhO has taught me how broadly applicable the clinical skills we learn in pharmacy school are and how we can use them to help patients on a much larger scale than the traditional pharmacist role.

Why did you join IPhO?
I joined IPhO to learn more about the different careers that a pharmacist can take in pharma because I knew I wanted to pursue a career in the pharmaceutical industry. As President, I wanted to not only work on my leadership skills but also host events that would expose students to the different opportunities in industry and put students in contact with real life industry professionals.
