Our Delta Service Center Council General Meeting and WHO (We Honor our Own) Awards dinner for the 2025-2026 year was held tonight at Elkhorn Banquet Hall. We had a record number WHO recipients this year. Andrea Jennings from JTA, Nicole Harp from EUTA, and Nolan Meyers from ALE (not pictured) were recognized too! Congratulations to all of our award winners!

The Delta Service Center Council participated in Earth Day festivities at Victory Park in Stockton, where our Human Rights & Equity Chair, Silvia Cantù, successfully led an engaging booth featuring arts and crafts activities for children and an Earth Stress ball for adults. Happy Earth Day!!🫶🏽🌎♻️

We are pleased to announce the successful hosting of our first Spring Educators Conference after a brief hiatus of several years. The event drew educators from across the county, who benefited from exceptional professional development opportunities. Our panel of presenters delivered informative and engaging sessions. The conference featured a range of topics, including CTA member benefits, the CTA Human Rights Cadre's 'Home is Here' sessions, presentations by CTA staff from the Equity and Justice Department on the special education IEP landscape and school safety guidelines based on the California Education Code, and a presentation on educator wellness by a Lodi Unified School District educator. We appreciate all our presenters and the educators who participated. See you next year!!!!!!

The Spring Educators Conference 2026 is returning. It will take place on Saturday, April 18, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Village Oaks High School, located at 1900 W Swain Rd, Stockton. Attendance is complimentary for all CTA members. A light breakfast will be provided, and two informative sessions will be offered, followed by lunch and a keynote address by CTA Board Member, District E, Shelly Gupton. The event will also feature vendors, giveaways, and a raffle. We look forward to seeing you there.
