⚠️ Delta Students: An ongoing cybersecurity incident involving Canvas is affecting colleges and universities across the country, including Delta College.

We are still assessing the situation but here’s what we know now:

The company that runs Canvas has taken it down, and access from Okta (MyDelta Dashboard) has been disabled as a precaution.

We know this is a stressful situation. Please know that Delta College faculty are aware of the situation and we will work with faculty to make adjustments to assignment due dates and final exams. Thank you for your patience as we work through this situation.

The 2026 CTE Certificate Ceremony begins at 6:00 PM at the Warren Atherton Auditorium (Locke Building).

We look forward to celebrating the hard work, dedication, and accomplishments of our Career Technical Education students. 💛

• Doors open at 5:30 PM
• Seating is first come, first served
• Tickets are FREE and distributed at the door
• Students should arrive between 4:45–5:00 PM for check-in and staging

🎓 Congrats to our 3rd POST Basic Dispatch Academy cohort at Delta College! After 160 hours of training since January, they completed their final class and graduated today.

Students included both current public safety employees and individuals preparing for entry-level careers in emergency communications.

Proud of this dedicated group stepping into public safety careers! 🚓📞

Daniel Puentes is one of 35 apprentices graduating this year with the Department of Water Resources after 4–5 years of hands-on training.
 
He’s earning his Industrial Technology – Mechanical Apprenticeship Certificate of Achievement through Delta College while working at the San Luis Field Division in Gustine.
