🦷✨ Today’s clinical case involved the surgical extraction of a full impacted wisdom tooth accompanied by a dentigerous cyst, followed by the application of bone grafting plugs to facilitate optimal healing and bone regeneration. Swipe to review surgical steps of the case.

Grateful for the opportunity to serve as clinical faculty during the opening week at - LIT’s newest institute in the heart Mexico. Dentist from across the US and Dubai came to be trained in dental implant surgery. In total 120 patient charity cases were performed with 460 implants placed.

Some patients you’ll always remember. This patient had lost his molars for over 20 years go, and it took significant tissue augmentation to make him a good candidate for Implants. As we were wrapping up the case he asked me “Can we make them gold?” Here we are presenting Splinted 13 and 14. And 19. The roll technique comprises of deepithelization of a pedicle flap. This pedicle connective tissue is then rolled beneath the buccal mucosa to augment the soft tissue in the bucco-lingual dimension. 🥼
