A few weeks ago our friends at BancFirst treated SPS's Teacher of the Year nominees to a day at the ballpark! Thank you for the fantastic meal on a beautiful afternoon and for the incredible gift baskets. Teachers received all sorts of baseball goodies, a t-shirt, school supplies, and more! Our schools are stronger because of the support this community provides to our teachers. Thank you,

SPEF is proud to steward the Larry Allred Memorial Golf Scholarship, awarded each year to a graduating Pioneer who exemplifies dedication, character, and commitment both on and off the course.

This year, Gladeen Allred — who established the scholarship in 2005 in memory of her late husband, Larry Allred — joined us at the Stillwater Golf Team’s End-of-Year Banquet to personally present the award.

Congratulations to Micheal Robertson on being selected as this year’s recipient! Micheal’s leadership, work ethic, and impact on his teammates make him a deserving honoree, and we are excited to see all he accomplishes as he begins his college journey this fall.

Congratulations to our 2026 SPEF Powerful Peer Award winners! These outstanding SPS educators were nominated by their fellow peers for going above and beyond to make a difference in the lives of coworkers and students alike. At Stillwater Public Schools, excellence isn’t just found in the classroom — it’s found in the way colleagues support and encourage one another every single day.

Each recipient was selected from peer nominations submitted by SPS teachers and support staff across the district and awarded $100 from SPEF in recognition of their impact.

From left: Ethan Shirey, Stillwater Middle School, Julie Reuter, Richmond Elementary, Kat Stepp, Stillwater High School, Emily Lewis, SPEF Executive Director.
*Winners not pictured: Sean Herring, Stillwater Junior High, Karie Linsenmeyer, Stillwater High School

Thank you to the staff who took the time to nominate a deserving coworker and congratulations again to this year’s Powerful Peer winners! Your kindness, leadership, and dedication help make SPS such a special place.

Don't forget! Tomorrow is the last chance to see the current Stillwater High School before it's scheduled demolition this summer. Guided tours will be held at 11am, 12pm, and 1pm, though you are welcome to self-guide too. Doors will open at 10:45am. Please enter through the main (south) entrance. Parking is available in the HS south and north lots, at Pioneer Stadium, and, if needed, North of the stadium in the western portion of the new SHS's parking lot.

While you are invited to see the new SHS exterior, access to the new building will not be available this weekend. We look forward to the community seeing that space later this summer, but it's still under construction at this time, and Saturday is about celebrating the memories that we're made in the 1960-2026 SHS!

We can't wait to see you this weekend!

Information about SHS and City Gym brick sales is coming soon.

$12,000 raised for our students and teachers!
Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, Stillwater Public Education Foundation’s Most Valuable Pioneer (MVP) Campaign raised an amazing $12,000 to support Special Services programs across the district!

These funds will help provide meaningful resources, tools, and opportunities for Special Services students and educators in every Stillwater Public School building — empowering learning, encouraging growth, and helping every student thrive.

To everyone who nominated outstanding educators and staff: THANK YOU for being an MVP for Stillwater students. Your impact will be felt across our district for years to come.

This would not have been possible without our Title Sponsor, and Presenting Sponsor Mayes Construction and Community Sponsors: 4KidzSake.org, C-Star Property Management, CREC, and Chris & Candace Stockton
