A huge thanks to the Stillwater Public Education Foundation for providing our Ag-Ed Program with a $4,000 Educational Grant. This will provide our students with an injection simulator that will allow them to practice injections, ear tagging, and hormone implants.
In the spirit of student and animal safety, we don't want junior high or high school students practicing on real animals so this is a great way to simulate important animal husbandry practices that are seen in every operation! We appreciate the support that SPEF always provides us!
We at Cockrell Eyecare are supporters for Stillwater Public Education Foundation and this is a great opportunity to support the MVPs (P for Pioneers) that are keeping education going during these times! Nominate your MVP for $25 by following the link below! There will be 2 $250 Amazon Gift Card winners from the nominees announced Super Bowl Sunday! Make sure your MVP is nominated!
Big thanks to Simmons Bank for matching all money raised up to $4,000 to support our special education services at SPS!

We are proud to continue our partnership with the Stillwater Public Education Foundation for the 2020-2021 school year. Since this week's falls on National French Fry Day, we thought it was appropriate to celebrate two Oklahoma legends — Stan Clark, Eskimo Joe's co-founder, and the restaurant's famous cheese fries, which were featured on Food Network's "Unwrapped" and endorsed by former President George H.W. Bush.
Clark, a native Tulsan, has built one of Oklahoma's most recognized brands AND has produced a legacy of giving back to his community. His company has sponsored scholarships at the Oklahoma State University College of Education, annually sponsored fundraisers benefiting the Stillwater Area United Way, and has provided donations to the following:
- Stillwater Public Education Foundation
- Coaches vs. Cancer
- Oklahoma Project Women
- Big Brothers and Big Sisters
- The South Entry Plaza of Boone Pickens Stadium
- Folds of Honor
In 2012, Clark received the Mike Synar Award for Special Olympics Oklahoma. He has been recognized by the Oklahoma State University Alumni Association as a Distinguished Alumnus, had the honor of being the Grand Marshall for the OSU Homecoming Parade, and was inducted into the Spears School of Business - Oklahoma State University Hall of Fame, as well as the Meinders School of Business Hall of Honor at Oklahoma City University. At the request of three governors, Clark served on the Tourism Commission for ten years. He has served multiple terms on the Stillwater Convention and Visitors Bureau, is a longtime member of the Oklahoma Restaurant Association, and has served on the boards of the Jim Thorpe Association and the Oklahoma Hall of Fame.
