Hello everyone!
I wanted to share a meal train that has been set up for Kara (Ribordy) Swertfeger family. Kara graduated in 99 and suffered an unimaginable loss this past weekend when her 14 year old son Channing was killed in a car accident near Tampico. I’ve had a few ask about our 20 year reunion 😱

With everything going on in the world, what are everyone’s thoughts?
A late fall reunion-hoping things are back to normal or Celebrating our 20th in spring or summer 2021?

A date has been set and plans are being finalized! We are planning the weekend of October 2 and will have stuff planned for Friday night and Saturday day/night. We are hoping we can get a good turnout for our 15th! We will be sending out invites in the next few weeks so please be sure to message me your address if you have moved in the last few years!!

Update: We are now planning on a September reunion date (possibly around NHS homecoming). A few people reached out to me, so we decided to move it back. Stay tuned for updated information in the next few weeks!!

Here are a few ideas that have been given:
Friday night- get together at Nicks, just low key, perhaps get a keg or 2, but then cash bar.
Saturday- going out to Moonlight bay during the day. Fellow classmates with boats can bring them and we can hang out at Moonlight and the river all day.
Or the idea of a golf outing on Saturday was thrown out too.

Any thoughts on these?
Obviously we are thinking summer time. Maybe mid July?

Update on the reunion....since we got a lack of RSVP's we will still be meeting at Kapps in Rock Falls, but no food will be available. It will be cash bar only, so you do not need to pay anything to us except what you plan on drinking. Hope to see you there!
