This week, GEAR UP staff Jo Benjamin, Stella Kayenga, and Jennifer Campbell attended the Annual GEAR UP Conference. Over 2,000 GEAR UP staff from GEAR UP programs all over the US gathered in Washington, DC for three days of learning and networking to better serve our students. // Esta semana, el personal de GEAR UP, Jo Benjamin, Stella Kayenga y Jennifer Campbell, asistieron a la Conferencia Anual de GEAR UP. Más de 2000 miembros del personal de GEAR UP de los programas GEAR UP de todo Estados Unidos se reunieron en Washington, DC durante tres días de aprendizaje y establecimiento de contactos para servir mejor a nuestros estudiantes.

On Tuesday, we had our final CHVD Justin Backpack workshop and were able to hand out the backpacks to the design winners and the 7th grade class // El martes tuvimos nuestro último taller sobre mochilas de CHVD Justin y pudimos entregar las mochilas a los ganadores del diseño y los estudiantes de septimo grado.
