Jaden is a proud graduate of Clairton High School, a Talent Search participant, and his class's valedictorian — a title earned through years of quiet dedication, hard work, and a love for learning that never wavered.

This fall, Jaden will make history as the first in his immediate family to attend college, heading to Robert Morris University where academic scholarships combined with federal and state grants will cover nearly his entire tuition. His story is proof that showing up every single day — through AP classes, a part-time job, and everything life throws your way — really does pay off.

We are so proud of Jaden and everything he represents for his family, his community, and every first-generation student who dares to believe they can do it too.

Want to learn more about Jaden's journey, his inspirations, and his dreams for the future?

Here’s a look back at one of our recent summer highlights.

Our Upward Bound West students visited the Natural History Museum in Pittsburgh as part of this year’s summer program.

It was a great day of learning, exploration, and fun.

Stay tuned for highlights from the UB summer and more!

Jackson is a proud graduate of Valley High School and a Talent Search participant since 7th grade — a young man who came into high school determined to become someone he could be proud of, and did exactly that.

A multi-sport athlete, Jackson helped lead his tennis team to an undefeated section championship and a top-8 state finish, while also serving as soccer captain in 10th and 12th grade. Despite receiving college tennis offers, he's keeping his focus where it matters most — his future. This fall, Jackson will pursue a degree in Forensic Science with a concentration in Criminalistics, with his sights set on a career with the FBI — a dream sparked by a TV show, fueled by curiosity, and backed by a plan.

We are incredibly proud of Jackson's growth, resilience, and the quiet determination he carries into everything he does.

Monique is a proud graduate of Clairton High School and a four-year Talent Search participant who came into high school unfocused — and left doing everything.

From Captain of the Honey Bears to cheerleading, track, robotics, public speaking, and tutoring younger students, Monique never stopped reaching for more. This fall, she'll attend Robert Morris University to study Psychology, with her sights set on becoming a guidance counselor or school therapist — inspired by her God mom whose calm and kind-hearted strength has guided her every step of the way.

We are incredibly proud of Monique's resilience, heart, and determination to pour into others the same way she was poured into.

Want to learn more about Monique's journey, her proudest moments, and the legacy she's leaving behind?
