Ritner Hall - August 2025

It’s squirrel appreciation day! 🐿

January 21 is Squirrel Appreciation Day! 🐿️ Be sure to thank your local squirrels for making the world a better place -- not only are they cute, they're regenerating entire forests! In fact, it's estimated that a single squirrel can plant enough trees 🌳 every year to provide oxygen for 40 people!

As for me, I sure do appreciate this nice warm hat on a cold winter day!

Last January, I started a new position with Housing & Food Services at Penn State. For those that don't know, all of the sororities have been moved to South Halls in a "greek village" centrally located to one another. Today, I had to go over to Ritner Hall to take a few photos. I thought you all might like to see what has become of our old suite. It is now a study lounge. Our kitchenette hasn't been at all. But ZTA's kitchen across the hallway was renovated. The small office is now a 3D printing room. The laundry room on our floor is now a lounge space.

As some of you already know, our dear sister Denise (Alpha Mu ‘94) lost her husband Glenn today. It has been a hard battle and they have been a strong family. In this hard time please consider helping Denise and her two children.

Click here to support Finfrock Family Fund About a year ago I let you know that my husband, Glenn, was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. Ever since the beginning he received chemotherapy in hopes of shrinking the tumors. For about 11 months he received chemotherapy but unfortunately the tumors did not shrink.
