Our students had a blast at field day! From playing on the bouncy houses, eating snow cones, playing with bubbles, competing in tug-a-war, and so many other fun things! Thank you to all of the parents and staff who came out to help with our field day! 🐝

Registration is open for KINDER CAMP, our free camp for rising kindergarteners designed to give our newest Jackets a first experience of what "big school" is like! Kinder Camp will be held June 22-26, 8:00am-11:00am at Sudduth. Space is limited and available on a first come, first served basis. School registration for 2026-2027 must be complete before registering for Kinder Camp.

Our kindergarteners are ready to take on a new hall! We were excited to host First Grade Open House last week as we finish up the school year with the kindergarten class. Our first grade teachers welcomed families and students to visit classrooms, experience some of our first grade activities and learn about what to expect next year. We love all the smiles and excitement for learning. Can't wait to see you in July on First Grade hall!

Small group time gives our students more individualized attention and the opportunity to learn and practice specific skills that sometimes cause struggles. Last week, we stopped by Ms. Perkins' first grade class as students were practicing reading out loud. In addition to talking through comprehension of a paragraph story, they worked on reading at a consistent pace, pausing between sentences, and following along as a friend reads.

Beep! Beep! Our annual Touch-A-Truck presented by Sudduth PTO is coming up on May 2, and all our little ones are invited! Admission is $5 per child and children under 1 are admitted free. Proceeds from the event go to support all that our wonderful PTO does for our school.

Kids will enjoy over 30 big trucks, plus a photo booth, book fair and food trucks! The event includes quiet hours from 10am-1pm so that all our littles can enjoy themselves. Then, from 1pm until 2pm, our friends can HONK to their heart's content!
