Sudduth Elementary

P is for Parade... Friday's annual ABC Parade of kindergarteners was so sweet and filled with creativity and fun! Our kindergarten students have been participating in ABC Bootcamp for the first weeks of school as they review and become more proficient in recognizing, writing and sharing the sounds of all the letters in the alphabet. Our first graders and preK students lined the bus lane on campus to cheer as kindergarteners paraded wearing costumes and signs reflecting their chosen letter.

Sudduth Parents, SOCSD will resume an optional morning carpool shuttle on Thursday, July 30 in an effort to ease traffic flow during Starkville road construction. We will offer a Yellow Jacket Stadium Shuttle from 7:00am until 7:30am, running to Sudduth each morning.

Happy Sudduth Independence Day! We are so proud of our sweet Jackets for walking into school without moms and dads today! We saw smiles, a few uncertain faces, and lots of red, white and blue as we celebrated this milestone with our students. It's been a great week of learning, meeting new friends and trying new things! We'll see you Monday, Jackets!

DON'T FORGET... SUDDUTH CARPOOL RE-ROUTE

Because of road improvements being constructed by the City of Starkville, Sudduth Elementary will begin the school year with changes to our carpool route. As parents may be aware, the intersection of Hwy 182 and Montgomery Street is currently closed through approximately August 31, which will impact some access to the Sudduth campus.

Please see the attached map for Carpool Re-route and visit the link below for more details on carpool access to campus as well as guidelines for drop-off and pick-up along Greenfield Street.

To receive your child's teacher assignment, all school registration must be complete and documents verified/approved by staff. The Sudduth office is open 7:30-3:30 Monday through Friday if you have questions or would like to drop off required documents.
