This semester has been quite active at SCHS, with a range of activities including college visits, guest lectures by college representatives, a hands-on learning experience at UAM and SEARK, and a recent attendance at the Build My Future event in Conway. Additionally, the Be Pro Be Proud truck simulator is scheduled to visit next month. Students have had extensive exposure to various opportunities this academic year, and we anticipate providing even more in the future.

Who is ready for a once-in-a-lifetime trip for FREE?

C & L Electric is looking for outstanding students to join the Electric Cooperatives of Arkansas Youth Tour, an all-expenses-paid, week-long leadership experience in our nation’s capital.

From June 13-19, delegates will join students from across America for a life-changing journey. This isn’t just a sightseeing trip; it is an opportunity for young leaders to discover their voices, develop leadership skills and begin shaping the legacy they will leave behind.

Two high school juniors will be chosen by our cooperative to participate in the tour. All that is required is a little effort on the part of the interested students. Juniors wishing to compete in our contest are asked to submit an application that is posted on our website no later than March 2, 2026.
