We will be picking up our Spirit Wear orders tomorrow, organizing, and taking them to the school.

It's that time again! Start saving your can tabs for a great cause! September 1, buckets for collecting will be in the classrooms.

❓️Have you ever tossed a soda can into the recycling bin and wondered if the little tab on top actually matters?It does!

🥫When we collect those tiny metal tabs for the Ronald McDonald House Southwest Virginia, we are doing something big.

🆘️These tabs are made of pure, high-quality aluminum. Recycling centers buy them from the charity by weight. The cash earned goes directly toward paying for food, rooms, and care for families who are far from home while their child is sick in the hospital.

0️⃣It takes zero extra money, just a little extra care. Pop off the tab, save them up, and help us keep families together when they need it most.

Our staff deserve the moon but had to settle for donuts today! The STE PTO invited Palumbo's Sweet Treats truck to our school this morning to serve a variety of donuts with delicious flavored coffees, lattes, and lemonades to the staff. You DONUT how much you are appreciated! Thanks a LATTE! 🧡💙🐅

We know parents and families are SUPER busy this month with kids going back to school and learning new routines, so we decided to begin our monthly PTO meetings in September. Our first meeting is September 3 at 5:30 p.m. in the STE Library. Kids are welcome to attend! We hope to see everyone there!

Thank you to Children First Pediatrics for sponsoring our amazing new car rider hanging tags this year at Stanleytown Elementary School! We appreciate them so much for their efforts in ensuring the safety, health, and well-being of our little Bengals! 🧡💙🐅

🧡💙🐅WHAT A NIGHT! 🐅💙🧡
We were thrilled to welcome back our little Bengals last night! Here's the low down in case you missed the festivities...

🍕 We fed our staff with a meal donated by Dominos! Our PTO supplied the dessert with cookie trays and fresh fruit. We also had a clipboard personalization bar for staff where they could choose a clipboard and inspirational stickers to decorate it.

🧼 The PTO along with the help of ResultsCX-Martinsville delivered canisters of disinfectant wipes, rolls of paper towels, boxes of tissues, bulk snack boxes, and jugs of hand sanitizer to every classroom to kick off the year healthy!

ℹ️ The PTO had several tables loaded with free deodorant thanks to a donation from Dove, fiber bars thanks to a donation from That's It! Fiber Bars, sun butter and chocolate sun butter cups thanks to a donation by SunButter, free school supplies, and free shoe charms and bracelets. We gave out tons of information and had a ton of interest in joining in on the PTO fun!

☮️ We sold 97 shirts during our One Day Flash Sale of Spirit Wear! We are so happy to be able to take card payments for all fundraisers now! We will offer our Spirit Wear Fundraiser again soon for two weeks.

💦 Each child received a water bottle with stickers to customize it while meeting with their teachers from the PTO. Gotta keep those kiddos hydrated during school!

🎁 The PTO supplied each teacher with purchased items from their wish lists that are used directly by the students to get their classrooms started!

🍨 The Bahama Sno-Shack was in the house! Thank you so much for keeping our kiddos cool with a special treat as they left the school!
