As a reminder, all schools will be closed tomorrow, Tuesday, November 11th in observance of Veteran's Day.
Veterans Day is a time to recognize and honor the members of the United States Armed Forces who served our nation with bravery and honor.
There are more than 17.5 million U.S. Military veterans in the United States, including approximately 150,000 right here in Connecticut.
Each November, our schools plan a number of activities to honor veterans, including musical performances, assemblies, classroom visits, writing thank you notes, and more.
