The first few weeks of school are in the books, and we are off to a GREAT start!
One of the things I believe most strongly is that school should be a place children are excited to go and excited to learn new things. A place where they feel safe to wonder, explore, get messy, ask questions, make mistakes, and discover what they’re capable of.
For us, learning isn’t just about memorizing facts or checking boxes on a curriculum.
It’s about raising well-rounded, capable, curious humans who develop a lifelong love of learning.
Children who know how to work together.
Who can solve problems when things don’t go as planned.
Who build, design, engineer, create, and think for themselves.
Who notice the tiny things happening in the natural world around them.
Who become nature enthusiasts, scientists, leaders, artists, architects, story tellers, and, most importantly, LIFE LONG LEARNERS!
