This rank informs the Blue Belt that he is getting close to the lethal level of Red Belt where he will become a lethal threat to almost everyone he encounters. The Red Stripe also warns that the student who has reached this level has become valuable to the training system and has been trusted with many of its secrets. Secrets that can upset superior ranked students if the Blue/Red Stripe Belt decides to quit before attaining Red Belt.
