Sponsored by both Renshaw America and Satin Ice, we will have dessert demonstrations, hand-on learning opportunities, booths with local and worldwide industry vendors and suppliers, the Edible Art Competition and the Sweet Taste of St. Louis Tasting, this sweet event is sure to create excitement for the confectionary arts in the amazing city of St. Nicholas Lodge will be serving as Head Judge for our edible competition, so we know this is going to be an AMAZING experience for us all! Renshaw Americas, one of our official sponsors, is offering a FREE "Renshaw Difference" interactive seminar hosted by Nicholas Lodge. In addition, we have world renowned cake artist and sugar artist coming in town to teach classes on both Oct. 21st and 22nd including Shannon Bond, Liz Marek of the Sugar Geek Show, Timbo of Cakes by Timbo, Reva of Merci Beaucoup Cakes and many more! The show will have a competition that includes Profession, Semi-Professional, Amateur & Children Levels. Some of the categories include Fondant Wedding Cakes, Buttercream Wedding Cakes, Themed Cakes, Sculpted Cakes and Non-Cake (Cake Pops, Cupcakes & Chocolate Covered Oreo) categories. With levels from children to professional, I am confident you will find a place to show off your edible art! The Show will benefit Icing Smiles and Sweet Celebrations, two local organizations dedicated to enriching childrenโs lives through delectable cakes and desserts. In addition, it aims to share the love of the confectionary arts with people of all ages by showcasing the Midwestโs incredible talent.
