SLU National Student Speech Language Hearing Association "NSSLHA is the national organization for graduate and undergraduate students interested in the study of normal and disordered human communication.

NSSLHA is the only official national student association recognized by the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA). NSSLHA membership is available to any part- or full-time, graduate or undergraduate student interested in the study of communication disorders. NSSLHA has approximately 13,000 members and there are 313 recognized NSSLHA chapters (all CAA-Accreditied programs have a NSSLHA chapter). NSSLHA chapters are located primarily in the United States but there are chapters in Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Greece, Israel, and Saudi Arabia" NSSHLA page.
