We finished our series of trainings last week. These groups of support leaders were AMAZING! Don't ever underestimate the power of your classified staff and support departments. WE WOULD NOT HAVE SCHOOL without them!!! Thanks Cooperating School Districts of Greater Kansas City for bringing all these folks together! I'm going to miss you!

Give them time to say what's on their mind. Shhh and be still. Then, watch how trust is built, communication is strong and connections are more meaningful!

It's a good word to know, and an even better one to practice! Thanks to all the people in my journey who showed me how!

As winter hangs on, and school feels more complicated, remember your "why!" It will help you stay on track and give you the energy to carry on! I say mine every morning before I get out of bed!
