Your heart and lungs work together every minute of every day—and the choices you make can play an important role in supporting both.

In Week 3 of our Choose Your Path to Better Health series, we’ll explore the connection between heart health, lung health, medications, and nutrition.

Learn about common heart and lung health concerns, the importance of understanding and properly taking prescribed medications, and how nutrition and everyday lifestyle choices can support your overall well-being.

We’ll also share practical information to help you become a more informed participant in your own healthcare and feel more confident asking questions and talking with your healthcare providers.

Your health. Your journey. Your path.

This program is for educational purposes only and is not intended to replace medical advice from your physician, pharmacist, or other qualified healthcare provider.

Better health often begins with understanding the small choices we make every day.

Join us for the first session of our four-part Choose Your Path to Better Health series, where we’ll explore the important connection between medication, nutrition, and your daily routine.

Together, Nancy of Nancy’s Urban Tower Farm and Susan Gallagher with BNC Care Navigators, will share practical, easy-to-understand information designed to help you become more confident and informed about your health.

During this session, we’ll discuss:

Why when and how you take your medications matters

Basic medication do’s and don’ts

Common mistakes people may make when taking medications

Why food, beverages, vitamins, and supplements can matter when taking certain medications

The role good nutrition plays in supporting overall health

Simple questions you should consider asking your doctor or pharmacist

Our goal is not to tell you what health path to choose, but to give you helpful information so you can make more informed decisions and have better conversations with your healthcare providers.

Your health is your journey. Come learn, ask questions, and discover simple steps that can help you Choose Your Path to Better Health.

This program is for educational purposes only and is not intended to replace medical advice from your physician, pharmacist, or other qualified healthcare provider.
